Grizzy is a very affectionate sweet kitty who loves the attention of people. She is very vocal with soft mews and lots of purring when she sees her foster mom. Grizzy was abandoned at an apartment complex in Palo Alto 6 months to one year ago. Some neighbors took pity on her (even though it is a no-pets- allowed complex) and started feeding her. After one of the main feeders moved out, we took her in, got her to the vet to make sure she was spayed, tested, in good health and up to date on vaccinations. She needs a quiet home where she can rule the roost and receive all the attention and love she has been craving since she was left behind by her previous "owners."
Update - June 21st. Grizzy has now been in a new foster home for several weeks now learning how to be an "indoor" only kitty. She spent her first weeks in a very large backyard enclosure but has "moved on up". Her new foster mom reports that she is doing fantastic living inside and immediately learned how to sleep on the "bed" with her temporary mommy. Grizzy has no bad habits, is meticulous about her litterbox and her grooming habits and just wants a nice quiet home to call her own. She is vocal with a quiet meow and loves to talk. She is affectionate and will purr immediately upon pushing her head into your hand for an nice pet.
