Peet was pulled from a local shelter and is now living in foster care in Palo Alto with several other cats and kittens.  (The cat who came from the shelter with him, "Starbuck", has already been adopted.)  Peet has lovely grey fur and a beautiful noble face.  He is shy with people at first but once he feels comfortable he lets you know that he's a very sweet, friendly guy who loves to play.   Peet has quickly made friends with every feline he's met, and has adapted easily when his foster mom needed him to stay in another foster home for a few weeks.  He's even been brought in "on assignment" several times, to help calm a frightened new cat or to help tame some feral kittens, and he's done a fantastic job every time.  Because Peet is initially shy with new people he doesn't always show very well, and this has kept him from being quickly adopted.  But anyone who takes time to get to know him discovers that he's a real sweetheart!  If you would like to meet Peet, please fill out an application.
