Athena found her way into the basement laundry room of a Palo Alto house and fell asleep in the laundry basket.  She was severely dehydrated, emaciated, and had a kidney infection.  After fluids, antibiotics, and lots of TLC by the people who found her, she is feeling much better, has gained weight and runs around the house chasing the 2 kittens that live there with her!
