Pulcinella and his sister Hana came to Bay Area Cat Rescue at about three to four weeks old, as an extremely underweight, orphaned brother and sister pair. They had somehow appeared in someone's laundry room, with no sign of the mother or any other siblings. But they were very active, had great appetites, and weren't sick -- just underweight. It didn't take them long to catch up and 'put on the ounces.' Now, they are normal weight, very healthy, playful, and super-cute! Pulcinella is a Maine Coon mix and has big paws, fluffy fur, and a gregarious personality. He's very active and always ready for the next adventure or playtime. But he'll purr when you pick him up and enjoys being held for a time -- as long as he can get back down at some point to play, play, play! Pulcinella needs an active kitty companion to play with -- his sister has already been adopted so he is available to go to a home with an existing cat, or he could be adopted with another BACR adoptable kitty. The second picture was taken when Pulcinella was a younger kitten -- he's still a kitten at 7 months, but he's filled out a bit and has 'grown into his ears.' Pulcinella lives in foster care, so please apply online or let us know of your interest so we can schedule a time for you to meet him.
