Have you decided to get a cat but think you will miss the tail-wagging of a dog? We may have the cat for you! Tammy has a little bobbed tail... Many "bobtail" cats do "wag" their tails, but this one wags her tail in excitement, just like a dog! And what about those eager demonstrations of loyalty? She will greet you at the door when you come home, and follow you around to ask for attention. Tammy has a short, lush coat that she keeps in perfect condition, and the most beautiful deep amber eyes. She's a very sweet cat, but she's rather lonely right now. She doesn't much care for other cats -- all she wants is an attentive person or persons to love her and spend lots of time with her. One of our volunteers noted that Tammy always enjoys her petting sessions, and is a great companion while you are with her. But, because she doesn't have her 'own' people right now, she will go to rather extraordinary and inventive measures to try to keep volunteers from leaving: begging, putting herself between you and the door... once, she tried stepping on our volunteer's toes, hoping maybe that she could keep the volunteer's feet from leaving the room! The bottom line is, Tammy wants plenty of attention, and she's very appreciative when she gets it. This is an amazing, super-cute cat who deserves a family all to herself. And we know that once she has her own family, she'll be more confident and cut down on the dramatics when you leave the room! And, she'll be your loyal companion.
