Nathan is a very friendly, good-natured young cat, who loves to play -- especially with the teaser toy when you can play, too! When he first came to the adoption center (see picture with the heart toy on his front feet) he was a little concerned but not scared -- he just looked up at us as if to say "well what do I do now?" And he adapted and fit in very quickly. He's a big, strong, and healthy cat -- not off-the-charts in terms of size, but just on the larger end of normal, and very fit. He will come to you when you call to offer him some pats, and he'll jump up eagerly to sit with you if you tap on the bench, beside yourself and invite him up. He takes easily to being handled or picked up. He is all ready for fun, all the time, and is always finding something interesting to do. In the picture where he's looking down from his perch on top of a tall cat tree (the third photo), we think he looks like a little mountain lion -- it almost makes us wonder if that's what he was pretending! Nathan is going to make a great pet and deserves a great home. You can fill out an online application for Nathan if you want to learn more, or ask about him at Bay Area Cat Rescue's adoption fairs, usually held 1-4PM Saturdays at the Petsmart in Mountain View, CA.
